Portulaca Rah Rah Rah

While focused on painting the back porch today, I took some nice breaks in the backyard. Brought my camera out there with me on one of the breaks and took this pic. I loved the way the sun was catching the yellow and red portulaca blooms. Rah! Rah! Sis boom bah!

You can bloom too

It’s cool when you see the new green leaves coming up out of the ground. So cool. But even better is when those plants send out a bloom! The riot of color, the fragrance, the tender delicate petals, the stamen… it’s totally thrilling! I believe each of us has the capacity to bloom in the same way.
