After traveling in New Mexico and falling in love with the landscape there, I considered purchasing a reproduction of one of Georgia O’Keeffe’s mesa paintings, but then realized what I really wanted to do was make some of my own.

Red Dirt and The Colorado River

The thrilling scenery outside my windows literally took my breath away a few times and there was lots of stopping the car so I could get out and gawk properly. I never knew how incredibly different land could be!
